Job description:

Position is for a Service Technician. Advise and consult customers on vehicle service needs. Create repair orders for customers and communicate with the service department.

Responsibilities:

Promptly meets and greets customers
Determines the nature of customer problems
Creates a Repair Order detailing the service to be performed
Obtains customer approval for service before delivering the repair order to service personnel
Reviews completed repairs or services performed with customers and collects payment
Performs daily cash/sales procedures at the close of the business day

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software
Knowledge of auto/truck Repairs, tire, lube, and maintenance issues
Experience using All-Data and vehicle service manuals to research and determine the resolution of malfunctions

Preferred Experience:

1+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in auto/truck tire, lubrication, and maintenance
1+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an auto repair store, auto dealership, or comparable professional environment.
Experience as a vehicle mechanic or lubrication technician
